Abstract

This research aims to analyze the production and reception processes of the book As Ciências no Brasil (1955 and 1994) in its historicals and intellectuals context with attention to its organizer, Fernando de Azevedo (1894-1974), and the authorial function that played a role in the historiography of science in Brazil. To do this, we mainly use the approach of the Book History.
