Abstract

This work addresses the interdisciplinary area between Computer Science, Engineering, Medicine, and Health. We will study and analyze different computational methods and technologies for the development of applications and software used in the monitoring and tracking of health conditions. In particular, different Operating Systems (MS-WINDOWS, Apple IOS, LINUX), system development tools (e.g., PHP, JAVA, DOT NET, Slack, Axure, NODE-JS, JIRA, etc.), and databases (MYSQL, ORACLE, SQL Server) will be analyzed. After these studies, which will focus on TECHNOLOGIES, the application area in MEDICINE will be examined. More specifically, health conditions related to CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASE (COPD). After understanding the main conditions related to this diagnosis, such as signs, symptoms, control, monitoring, the use of blood pressure measuring devices, etc., we will design a model, and an application software related to this health condition will be developed.
