Abstract

Supraparticles (SPs) are aggregates of nanoparticles with potential applications across various fields. SPs can be constructed using a single type of nanoparticle or mixtures of nanoparticles with different morphologies, capable of forming complex particles. However, creating SPs requires building structures that depend on the balance of forces between the nanoparticles and the kinetics of the assembly process. Biopolymers, such as cellulose nanofibers, can serve as effective anchors for NPs. In this context, this project proposes to develop new SPs incorporating biopolymers and to evaluate their behavior in water (disintegration and release kinetics) and mobility in soil.
