Abstract

This research proposal aims to disseminate to the general public the knowledge developed within the project "From Fundamental to Application: Reaching New Frontiers in Fuel Cell Technologies" to be developed at the Institute of Physics and Polytechnic School in the University of São Paulo in collaboration with Nuclear and Energy Research Institute (Ipen) within the Research Centre for Gas Innovation (RCGI). The public perception of fuel cell technologies is critical for their massive application. The goal of this proposal is three-fold: one is to produce content about fuel cells and about the ongoing development of the project for the general public, to disseminate this content through distinct media and social networks through digital storytelling, and to promote this knowledge within primary and high schools. This proposal can also be integrated into the dissemination program at RCGI. It is expected that the activities proposed here can contribute to the understanding and the importance of Fuel cells for the general public and, in particular, for the younger generations. In this project, we will focus on the design and Production of Instructional Materials at the elementary and high school levels.
