Abstract

The ambitions and scope of our doctoral thesis will require a great effort to collect data in the field. Instead of organizing a field trip for each chapter, we chose to hold a long field, lasting a semester, where it will be possible to gather most of the data.Therefore, between July and December 2024 I will be living in the municipality of Tomé-Açu (PA), and collecting data for the doctoral thesis. Our intention is to carry out the internship abroad immediately afterwards, taking advantage of this time at Indiana University (Bloomington, USA) to organize and analyze the data, and start writing the chapters/papers that make up the doctoral research. The objectives established for the internship are: 1) analyze the data collected in the field, 2) construct a first version of the chapters that make up the doctoral thesis and 3) prepare the qualification of my doctoral thesis.
