Abstract

This project for a Research Internship Abroad aims to complement my research entitled "Visual representations of working women in funerary reliefs from Ostia, the port of Rome (1st century BC-2nd century AD)" which is being developed under a scholarship granted by the Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP) at the Universidade de São Paulo. This Research Internship Abroad is programmed to be developed during the period of 40 days (from 01/02/2025 to 14/03/2025), under the supervision of Professor Cyril Courrier (Aix Marseille Université). The activities planned for the internship will focus on conducting research at the Bibliothèque d'Antiquités d'Aix, assisting in drafting updates for the Inscriptions Latines de Narbonnaise (ILN), receiving specialized training on inscriptions from my co-advisor Cyril Courrier, and visiting the Ostia site and relevant museums in Italy.
