Abstract

The objective and work plan for this training internship in the laboratory of Prof. Márcio Lourenço Rodrigues is to learn how to handle and maintain Cryptococcus cultures, as well as techniques for isolating extracellular vesicles (EV) from Cryptococcus, to later apply to P. brasiliensis. Additionally, the goal is to learn techniques for maintaining Galleria mellonella colonies for future infection with P. brasiliensis, as a model to test the action of EVs purified from fungi treated with the calcineurin inhibitor on the infection with yeasts of this fungus (AU)
