Abstract

The project aims to show how the role of a scientific journalist can contribute tobring relevant content to the population's knowledge about the diagnosis and treatment ofobsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and, through informative actions, publicize theongoing research in the area and encourage people with OCD to participatevoluntarily from these researches. Particularly, we seek to promote awareness andparticipation of volunteers with OCD in a study focused on investigating neurobiologyunderlying this condition, contributing to the understanding of the disease mechanisms andto develop more effective treatments.
