Abstract

This project aims to investigate aspects related to turbulence phenomena in plasma confined within the TJ-II stellarator. The primary objective of this work is to evaluate how modifications in parameters, such as rotational transform and external bias, can serve as effective mechanisms for turbulence control. This study utilizes intermittency measures and entropy transfer analysis on extensive experimental data obtained from Langmuir probes to investigate rational surfaces and effective diffusivity, focusing on the effects of parameter variations on plasma turbulence. The goal is to identify optimal configurations for controlling edge turbulence and reducing particle loss, thereby enhancing confinement efficiency.
