Abstract

Considering the recent trajectory and relevance of the Encontro de Saberes (ES) aimed at recognizing and valuing traditional Brazilian knowledge (indigenous, quilombola, crafts, among others), this project proposes the systematization of understandings of the perceptions of undergraduates enrolled in a federal university . Through a case study and in-depth interviews, we intend to raise the questions, formulations and possible criticisms of students exposed to initiatives linked to HE. Thus, we intend to generate support for understanding the developments of HE among the student body and also contribute to more comprehensive research on the institutional, political and academic issues involved in multi-pistemic initiatives such as this.
