Abstract

The present proposal aims to integrate subsystems of a hybrid topology vehicle to study the dynamic behavior of traction and the resistances associated with the implemented vehicle dynamics. References, such as wheel acceleration level and displacement for vehicle control, are defined by the driver through a steering wheel and pedals connected to an experimental setup that emulates both the powertrain and the generation unit composed of an internal combustion engine and synchronous generator in a series hybrid vehicle. Testing of the integration with an electronic differential (developed by the candidate in their previous research project) will be conducted via hardware-in-the-loop and later on the test bench built in the Control Laboratory (in portuguese, LAC) and the Laboratory of Alternative Sources and Power Processing (in portuguese, LAFAPE) at EESC/USP. The proposal includes the use of CarSim software to compare and validate the results of the integration of the propulsion and resistance subsystems addressed in this project (AU)
