Abstract Experiments with Rydberg atoms rely significantly on lasers with a highly stabilized frequency. The most effective way to achieve this stabilization is through frequency locking in optical cavities with high stability. These cavities are kept temperature stable and vacuum isolated. The objective of this project is to assemble an optical cavity capable of stabilizing three different wavelengths for experiments with Rydberg atoms: 776, 780 and 1250 nm. Later, these lasers will be used in an electromagnetically induced transparency experiment involving Rydberg states in an Rb vapor cell. | |
