Abstract

In light of the importance of creativity in a variety of contexts, its assessment has attracted the attention of national and international researchers. Consequently, a wide range of assessment measures can be found in the international context, while there is still an important gap on this issue in Brazil. The current study proposes to update the evidence of validity and accuracy of the Children's Figural Creativity Test, given the importance of creativity for personal and professional fulfillment and mental health. As part of the proposed project, validity will be evaluated through internal structure and reliability will be evaluated through internal consistency. A total of 400 children are expected to respond to the instrument. In order to analyze the data, confirmatory factor analysis will be used and, if this is not sufficient, exploratory factor analysis will be used. Omega McDonald coefficients and Cronbach's alpha will be calculated. It is expected that the test results will be favorable and will meet the minimum requirements of the Psychological Test Assessment System (Satepsi).
