Abstract

This masters project aims to design and evaluate model aggregation mechanisms that consider the contribution, relevance and reliability of the clients participating in Federated Learning, specifically in telecom operators scenarios. To achieve that, we will investigate ways to model the client participation in the learning process, quantify their contributions in the global model, incentivize important clients to participate in the model training, as well as evaluate how aggregation models developed for telecommunications scenarios can improve learning and its efficiency.
