Abstract

Removals, evictions and forced displacement are processes of dispossession to which certain populations and their living territories are subject. This project is based on the need to identify these populations and territories that are considered to be 'at risk' and which, because of this condition, are potentially subject to processes of displacement in the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo, in times of climate change and housing crisis. This post-doctoral project seeks a multidisciplinary researcher with experience in geography, urbanism, territorial planning or public policy and experience with cartographic methodologies. Familiarity with and experience in the field of evictions is recommended. He/she will be responsible for the methodological and theoretical coordination of the cartographic process on its various fronts and scales. This researcher will also contribute to the overall coordination of the project in terms of meeting objectives and timetables, organising events and meetings, disseminating results and communicating with Fapesp and partner institutions.
