Abstract

This project aims to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the current institutional framework applicable to electric and hybrid mobility in Brazil, including light vehicles, trucks, and electric or hybrid buses. The study will examine Brazil's economic policy regarding these vehicles by identifying relevant bilateral and international agreements and commitments, and it will analyze the tariff policy applicable to finished products, parts, and components. The project will also address the government's new industrial policy, highlighting the Green Mobility and Innovation Program (Mover) along with its tax incentives, decarbonization objectives, and sustainability targets.
