Abstract

Context: This project is part of a coordinated set of research projects linked to the Teaching Project "Development of an intervention proposal to promote freedom of expression and decent work for vulnerable groups". These are five studies of the same design that continue the current Scientific Initiation work (2023-2024 cycle, ongoing) that is surveying guidelines already available on the internet on websites of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), collectives and social movements, and reporting and support platforms dedicated to protecting women, LGBTQIA+ people, Afro-descendants, people with disabilities, migrants, and immigrants. In phase 1 (ongoing), the type of content specifically related to work available in these online environments is being verified. In phase 2 (current proposal), information booklets and content proposals for such entities will be prepared. Objective: To propose educational material (booklets) for websites of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), collectives and social movements, and reporting and support platforms dedicated to protecting people with disabilities in order to promote awareness about Decent Work. Justification: News about affronts to the dignity of these workers are recurrent in the media and statistics from specialized entities, but specific guidelines regarding working conditions are not frequent. Method: Qualitative research of a netnographic nature with a proposal for an electronic booklet. Discussion: Based on the results of the ongoing studies (phase 1), electronic booklets will be proposed based on the Psychology of Work and the Decent Work framework, with the evaluation of judges selected from three categories, namely: a) academics, b) non-academics, and c) representatives of groups in vulnerable situations. Expected Results: The aim is to develop relevant material for the protection of people with disabilities with regard to information relevant to their professional practice, in a dignified and meaningful manner.
