Abstract

The researcher will oversee the bibliographic review, analyze the materials collected during field visits, define a timetable for empirical scientific research and coordinate the activities of other researchers. The researcher will be responsible for analyzing the legal framework and the role of the public sector, verifying the dichotomy of public and private coordination, the potential challenge of the bottom-up approach versus efficiency and the criteria for economic success with socio-environmental sustainability. The researcher will coordinate both educational and informative material and pedagogical activities to raise awareness and engage with public policies. The researcher will manage the doctoral fellows to make calculation estimates, develop scenarios and modeling to show the data identified in the documentary and field research and compare the identified criteria that imply incremental costs and gains. The researcher will seek to calculate the impacts on price; production volumes; market access and competitiveness; product/service resilience to crises and price drops; at the level of local economic development, identifying the causal mechanisms and success factors.
