Abstract

We will study the concepts of instability in both classical fluids and in quantum fluids. In particular, we will focus the study onRayleigh-Taylor instability (RTI). We will carry out analytical preliminary studies. Later, we will do numerical calculations for mixingquantum fluids. We will develop a numerical algorithm to solve the Gross-Pitaevskii (GP) equation and for one species and thenwe will apply it to a mixture. We will look for conditions to reproducethe RTI. In the future, we may consider applying our methods todifferent types of interactions.
