Abstract

This research project aims to study, simulate and implement a predictive torque control strat-egy for a three-phase induction motor. Predictive control will select the voltage vector to beapplied to the motor's stator according to the prediction of torque and flux behavior. The induc-tion motor will be powered by a three-phase inverter. Other controllers may be studied duringthe project. The studies will be carried out using computer simulation techniques using the math-ematical model of the system studied and then an experimental bench will be set up to validatethe control strategy studied.
