Abstract

This project aims to develop an authorial children's poetry book inspired by the work The Heart by Zalina Rolim, with the objective of rescuing and valuing the author's contribution to Brazilian children's literature. The research explores Rolim's influence on the construction of contemporary children's literature, using Gérard Genette's notion of hypertextuality as a theoretical basis. The methodology includes a thorough bibliographic review of previous studies, critical analysis of Rolim's work, and the creation of poetry that engages with her themes and style. The expected results aim not only to contribute to the formation of a new readership but also to promote social inclusion and access to literature, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in the areas of quality education and reducing inequalities. The final book will be made available for free, aiming to democratize access to culture and encourage meaningful reading practices among children in situations of vulnerability. (AU)
