Abstract The primary objective of this research is to investigate the stability of linear systems of hypersurfaces, with a particular focus on pencils of curves, by means of Geometric Invariant Theory. Furthermore, we aim to describe certain classification problems within this framework through the language of moduli spaces and to explore potential applications of these results to other stability problems.
