Abstract

The accessibility in teaching materials is essential to ensure the inclusion of people with disabilities. In the context of school education, providing accessible content in Libras can contribute to the dissemination of information and the promotion of autonomy. Beside that, interdisciplinarity has been presented as a way to minimize the fragmentation of scientific knowledge and enables the mobilization of teachers in favor of addressing topics proposed in the school curriculum.The objective, therefore, is to develop accessibility in Libras in teaching materials that can be worked on interdisciplinarily.To this end, a survey of available teaching materials on the topic will be carried out, followed by a careful analysis of the presence of accessible resources for people with deafness. Based on this analysis, one of the materials will be selected for the implementation of accessibility in Libras, through the translation of the content into that language and the insertion of resources that facilitate its understanding. It is expected that this initiative will contribute to expanding access to information for the deaf community and serve as a reference for the development of new, more inclusive teaching materials.
