Abstract

The aim of this research is to survey and select the main Amazonian maps from the colonial period, between the 17th and 18th centuries. This survey will assist in the development of the digital cartographic platform while also providing the scholarship student with an opportunity to reflect on the history of cartography and the techniques for analyzing historical maps.
