Abstract

O principal desafio de gestão de recursos hídricos é como garantir quantidade e qualidade de água suficientes para consumo humano, atividades produtivas e ecossistemas, uma vez que a gestão eficaz da água requer monitoramento em tempo real e análise de dados de forma eficiente.1.619 / 5.000The main challenge in water resource management is how to ensure sufficient quantity and quality of water for human consumption, productive activities and ecosystems, since effective water management requires real-time monitoring and efficient data analysis. In this context, having indicators related to water security that can be calculated through the use of innovative Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) is essential. Therefore, in addition to knowing these technologies and indicators in the Brazilian reality, knowing the reality of another country is essential. Thus, this activity plan aims to identify, develop and validate a set of ICT-based indicators used for water resource management in the Lisbon region, Portugal, which includes the assessment of the limits, potential and challenges encountered by local experts and managers to ensure water security. The methodological procedures involve identification of indicators, technical visits to the locations where data are collected, processed and analyzed, evaluation of the performance of the technologies used to calculate and analyze the indicators, organization of spreadsheets with the summary of the information collected from the main water security indicators found in the documentary analysis and the corresponding ICTs, and preparation of a final report describing the validated indicators and the associated ICTs. As a result, it is expected to present a comprehensive set of validated ICT-based indicators for monitoring water security in Lisbon.
