Health professionals have little knowledge aboutthe risky use of alcohol and other drugs, compromising humanized care andencouraging the perpetuation of stigmatizing beliefs. Research has identified thatstigma has been present since the undergraduate course, and many of theprofessionals who are currently on the front line may have carried such beliefs sincetheir training. Therefore, more studies are needed to investigate the presence of stigmaduring undergraduation education, especially in different fields of knowledge and thefactors associated with public stigma. Objectives: To analyze public stigma regardingsubstance use disorders in university students from different fields of knowledge.Method: This is an online quantitative study with university students from any area ofknowledge, aged 18 or over. Students will be invited to participate in the researchthrough the study's promotion on major social networks. Sociodemographic data, publicstigma assessed by the Attribution Questionnaire for Drug Dependence (AQ-D) anddrug consumption will be collected through the Alcohol, Smoking and SubstanceInvolvement Screening Test (ASSIST).
