Abstract

In this project, we aim to implement the use of the spectroscopy Circular Dichroism to investigate the secondary structure of proteins deposited on the surface of Suprasil-quartz plates in the form of semi-dehydrated films. We intend to promote different functionalizations on these plates and observe the effect on the protein structure when they adsorb onto them, using circular dichroism and infrared (FT-IR).
