Abstract

The objective of this project is the development of a continuous monitoring panel of performance indicators for highly complex cardiovascular procedures, and prediction of clinical stages, using artificial intelligence to analyze structured and unstructured data from electronic medical records of hospitals that use the system AGHU (Management Application for University Hospitals). The computerization of hospital records was not carried out in order to speed up the data collection and processing process. An excess of free text fields were maintained in the medical records, without standardization of data described by professionals, with excessive redundancy and conflicting information stored in the same record. In this context, this project can be considered an incremental innovation, solving problems of access, processing and interpretation of data contained in electronic medical records, which are currently cumulative records, with low utility and direct applicability.
