Abstract

The project aims to communicate research carried out at the Interdisciplinary Research Centers and Nuclei that are part of the COCEN system (Unicamp's Coordination of Interdisciplinary Research Centers and Nuclei). To this purpose, videos aimed at communicating science to broad audiences will be produced, to be broadcast on the Coordination's social networks and on other Unicamp communication channels. The audiovisual materials will cover research carried out by the centers and nuclei, as well as topics of public relevance or significant events related to scientific research. The project is expected to help increase public awareness of the importance of the interdisciplinary research carried out under COCEN's scope, which covers all major areas of knowledge and has partnerships with public, private and third sector institutions. The project thus seeks to strengthen scientific culture and public support for investments in science and technology, as well as promoting access to knowledge as a tool for understanding the role played by the scientific community in society.
