Abstract

The fellow will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating a communication model for 5G networks using the programmability of the Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN). The main focus will be the execution of network slicing, a fundamental technique for efficient resource management and service customization in 5G networks. The ultimate goal of the fellowship is to demonstrate the effectiveness of the developed solution, highlighting the ability of the communication model to support dynamic and adaptive network slicing, essential to meet the diverse demands of services and applications in a 5G network environment.
