Abstract

In this research project, an extension of the master's project under development in the FEIS/Unesp Postgraduate Program, we propose to develop a methodology dedicated to the planning of short-term operation and expansion (planning horizon of approximately 5 years) for electricity distribution networks considering modeling the hosting capacity of distributed generators that use renewable and non-renewable energy sources, with an emphasis on solving the problem when the DG is of photovoltaic type and owned by the distributor or independent generators. To formulate the problem, a classical optimization modeling should be researched with an emphasis on mixed integer nonlinear conic programming or mixed integer linear programming, combined with constructive heuristics based on the practical experience of designers and operators of electrical distribution systems with an emphasis on algorithms that use neighborhood techniques.
