Abstract

The proposed Scientific Initiation project aims to introduce students to the study of black holes and the laws that govern them, in particular the four mechanical laws that led to the emergence of "black hole thermodynamics". This is an active area of research, with open questions directly linked to the quantum aspects of gravity. Although students are not expected to delve into these quantum aspects during the short period of the scholarship, the idea is to provide training that will allow them to understand these issues. (AU)
