Abstract

This project aims to analyze discussions arising from the implementation of a didactic proposal in the curricular component Natural Sciences and Knowledge of the Cosmos, taught in 2024 for students of different undergraduate courses at the University of São Paulo (USP), with an emphasis on the environmental and energy challenges of the 21st century. The research focuses on analyzing the characteristics of the future vision of the undergraduates involved, with a focus on the challenges and possibilities of an energy transition.The research sources will include recorded audio and videos as well as reports developed during the application of the game. The analyses of these sources in text, audio and video format will be carried out using the MAXQDA software, which is based on a qualitative content inspection with mixed methods. The analysis will include the theoretical-methodological perspective used by the research line, involving complexity, interculturality and a future-oriented approach to science teaching.The final product is intended to support a series of research projects by the group and will be an analysis of the teaching proposal developed for USP undergraduate students on the environmental challenges of the 21st century and their relationship with the global energy matrix.
