Abstract

The expansion of Virtual Reality (VR) applications in sectors such as healthcare, education, and entertainment requires ultra-responsive 5G networks to support remote VR services. However, latency variations and frame instability can trigger cybersickness (physical discomfort) and degrade the Quality of Experience (QoE). Currently, as VR is a relatively recent application, network orchestrators lack models that integrate users' subjective feedback to mitigate these effects in real time. This study addresses this gap, aligning with the PORVIR-5G project in the development of programmable and intelligent networks. (AU)
