Abstract

This research project in Mathematics is part of the Real Analysis area and will be developed by a student of the Mathematics Course in the evening period, Bachelor's degree modality. In developing this project we intend, at the same time, to reinforce the basic training in Mathematical Analysis and introduce the student to research through the individual study of Real Analysis topics not studied in a Bachelor's degree, such as the notions of Lebesgue measure on the real line and Lebesgue integral of real functions of a real variable, as well as some of their applications.
