Abstract

Aiming to contribute to the research project "Sound Archives of Theater: implementation of a basis for research into the sound dimension in the performing arts" (2022/15032-4) Young Investigator Grant (São Paulo Research Foundation), this work plan is dedicated to conducting a state-of-the-art review of ten (10) terms related to punctuation, namely: Exclamação (Exclamation mark); Interjeição (Interjection); Interrogação (Question mark); Leitura/trabalho de mesa (Table-read/read-through); Pausa (Pause); Pontuação (Punctuation); Prosódia (Prosody); Reticência (Ellipsis); Silêncio (Silence); Vírgula (Comma). The results of this research will support the development of the respective entries that will be included in one (1) of the six (6) volumes of the "Sounds in Theater: terms and concepts" (25/01572-5) Visiting Researcher Award (São Paulo Research Foundation). The student will participate in the research team's activities - including seminars, meetings, and academic events - and will have the opportunity to exchange experiences with researchers at different academic levels from various disciplines and/or countries. The student will also be encouraged to turn this study into a scholarly article or conference presentation, and to pursue its continuation in a future master's research project. (AU)
