Abstract

For over 10 years, the Center for Research, Technology and Education in Vitreous Materials (CeRTEV) has been offering scientific education and outreach activities on glass materials and basic sciences, combining art and science to achieve the scope of the actions promoted effectively. Developing funny activities, promoting courses and supporting actions for producing audiovisual materials, plays, interactive exhibitions, and comic books, among other initiatives, demonstrate CeRTEV's vast experience in ¿¿education and science communication at the national and international levels. The Praticar Ciência proposal, if approved, will consolidate these actions and provide an opportunity for the continuity of the training process, allowing new teaching materials to be developed and implemented with the important research in education carried out by the undergraduate students involved in the project. The development of investigative teaching sequences involving research in art/science and with a focus on sustainability will be the difference in this proposal. It will contribute to a new look at meaningful scientific education.
