Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the performance of the soybean-maize system cultivated via earlyintercropping, referred to as the Anticipated System, in contrast to the conventional practice of sowing maize after the soybean harvest. The specific objectives are: (a) to assess the growth and development attributes of maize plants in both systems; (b) to evaluate the productivity of maizeand soybean in both systems; and (c) to assess the management of nitrogen doses in these systems.
