Abstract

This project seeks to answer a common question: why invest in space technologies when there are still so many challenges on Earth? Despite frequent criticism, these investments have direct applications in everyday life, benefiting areas such as communication, security, health and the environment, for example. However, many are unaware of their impacts, even though they benefit from them on a daily basis. Many people do not realize this direct relationship, which reinforces the need for educational initiatives that make these connections more evident to the population, especially to young people, who can become agents of multiplying this knowledge. To achieve this goal, the project foresees the production of educational content in videos and podcasts, aimed at young audiences. The material will address how space technology influences daily life, demystifying the idea that these investments are superfluous. In this way, the aim is to democratize access to scientific and technological knowledge, promoting a broader understanding of the relevance of space activities for economic and social development.
