Abstract

Contemporary educational systems are influenced by various forces and techno-scientific projects, which result in increased social and cultural inequalities. Among these forces, the phenomenon of platformization stands out, which includes the use of digital platforms involving interactions between users, enabling the collection and algorithmic processing of data. It is worth highlighting that platformization, when guided by a pedagogical and cultural vision, can bring benefits to educational systems. In a complex global scenario involving climate crises, wars, and widespread circulation of information and disinformation, transdisciplinary approaches that promote the integration and re-connection of knowledge (Morin, 2005) have been advocated as strategies for curricular innovation. Therefore, studying the phenomenon of platformization in the implementation of transdisciplinary curricula can provide valuable data for managing public education systems. The research will primarily be qualitative and aligned with the transformative perspective (Creswell, 2010), as it aims to relate the theme of platformization in transdisciplinary curricula to social issues such as oppression, alienation, and domination, in search of critical awareness and empowerment of research participants. To achieve this, in addition to documentary research to analyze curricular proposals, focus group techniques (Trad, 2009) will also be employed, involving professionals composed of individuals with solid knowledge of curricular issues who are involved with the use of platforms in public education systems.
