Abstract

Periodic orbits are solutions for which there is repetition in the relative motion between objects. The joint computation of periodic orbit and of chaos indicators provides a global view of the regions of regular motion (periodic or quasiperiodic) and chaotic motion. In this project, we will develop algorithms to compute periodic orbits in the Circular Restricted Three Body Problem, and we will compare the efficiency and reliability of chaotic indicators in these systems.
