Abstract

The research proposal aims to explore the growing post-pandemic trend of individuals migrating from large urban centers to rural areas, with a specific focus on consumers who choose a more substantial change: settling in sustainable communities known as ecovillages. With approximately 10,000 ecovillages distributed globally, these communities are structured to promote sustainability across social, cultural, economic, spiritual, and ecological dimensions. The study aims to investigate the spiritual and ecological dimensions of residents and individuals who are part of these ecovillages.
