Abstract Cardiovascular diseases are those that affect the heart and blood vessels, and this group is the leading cause of death in the world. Therefore, regular monitoring of the circulatory system is necessary for patients with risk factors. In the era of the Internet of Things, portable devices are increasingly present in everyday life, including measuring biometric signals and enabling the development of new options for personalized medical solutions. An example is the monitoring of cardiac signals performed by smartwatches. However, in order to develop new devices, studies are needed on the sensors used, processing of the captured signals, as well as their experimental assembly. This project aims to analyze the feasibility of using acoustic sensors as a way to measure, in real time and continuously, changes in blood flow and analyze cardiovascular health. | |
