Abstract

This undergraduate research project aims to examine the presence and extent of integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the curricula of Administration programs at both national and international higher education institutions. Given the growing importance of AI across organizational, social, and educational contexts, understanding how it is incorporated into the education of future administrators is essential. The study will be conducted in two phases. The first phase involves a systematic review of Administration curricula, identifying courses that are directly or indirectly related to AI, such as AI ethics, algorithm fundamentals, programming, statistics, and linear algebra. In the second phase, the collected data will be analyzed using Multicriteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) methods, with the goal of constructing an index to measure each program's level of engagement with AI. This index will be based on criteria such as the inclusion of core and complementary AI-related subjects, the instructional hours dedicated to the topic, and the integration of ethical and applied perspectives. The project is aligned with the broader research initiative "Advanced approaches in multicriteria decision making under uncertainty: methodological and applied perspectives", and seeks to provide empirical evidence to support curriculum development in Administration programs in Brazil.
