Abstract

This research project seeks to strengthen the bases for understanding and developing the technicalities behind a quantum computing demonstrator experiment with a future goal of implementing such studies on our cavity-atom system. The primary objectives for the research stay are: (1) to acquire hands-on expertise in scaling optical tweezer arrays and implementing Rydberg gates and memories with strontium; (2) to directly collaborate on benchmarking quantum gate fidelity, quantum memories capabilities, and to develop a proposal for a hybrid cavity-enhanced tweezer readout scheme; and (3) to lay the groundwork for a sustained collaboration through shared experimental protocols. The knowledge transfer achieved through this exchange is essential for accelerating the development of our Quantum computing devices and Quantum sensing demonstrator in São Carlos, Brazil. (AU)
