Abstract The Horus Project (Fapesp 2023/12865-8), one of the research initiatives of the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (Recod.ai) of the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), aims to enhance digital media trust through innovative artificial intelligence (AI) methodologies. This proposal outlines the role of a scientific journalist in promoting the project's findings and results. By leveraging various communication strategies, including social media engagement, multimedia content creation, and collaboration with researchers, the scholarship holder will disseminate knowledge about the project's applications in combating mis/disinformation, synthetic media manipulation, and cyber threats. The proposed activities will not only raise awareness of the Horus Project but also contribute to a more informed public discourse on digital media trust, security and ethics. (AU) | |
