Abstract

In the 21st century, creativity has become an essential skill for problem solving. In this scenario, the present study will investigate the influence of educational levels on children's creativity. This sample will consist of 800 students from 2nd to 9th grade, from public and private schools, in an effort to ensure a balance of genders. The Children's Figural Creativity Test (TCFI) will be administered to the participants, and the results in the four factors and total score will be compared, using the mean difference test, considering the performance of the participants each year. In the event that the averages are significantly different, a post hoc test will be conducted in order to determine between which groups they differ. Data collected from this population will be used to construct TCFI normative tables, which take into account the differences between school grades in the assessment of creativity. (AU)
