Abstract The pseudoscalar K, D, Ds, B and Bs mesons will be modeled based on the corresponding Bethe-Salpeter amplitudes obtained from the solution of the corresponding equation in Minkowski space. The QCD constraints in the lattice for the quarks, gluons and the dressed quark-gluon vertex will be used to construct the kernel of the BS equations. This model allows us to explore the structure of these pseudoscalar mesons, in the form of partonic distributions, within the physics to be investigated in future electron-ion colliders. The Bethe-Salpeter amplitudes provide the quantities needed to obtain the partonic amplitudes of the weak decay of the D and B mesons into light pseudoscalars, such as D0 (antiD0) into two pions or two charged kaons, and of the charged D and B mesons into three light pseudoscalar channels.
