Abstract

By the use of three visible spectrometer, one multichannel VUV spectrometer and one multichannel bolometer we study the whole plasma light radiation produced in the NOVA-UNICAMP tokamak. With this set up we can distinguish the light from discrete and continuous emissions originated at the central or border portions of tokamak plasma. The work can be applied into the TCABR tokamak. The main expected results are spatial and temporal determinations of the electron and ion temperature and density, impurity effects to the plasma parameters, mapping of radiation loss in the plasma, determination of more precise effective charge with and without internal electrode, and many codes for Abel inversion and tomographic data analysis.
