Abstract

The stress is an important factor that can interfere negatively in the physical performance, altering also psychobiologic aspects, as sleep, mood and quality of life. In this context, the objective of the present study is analyze the influence of the stress pre and post-competitive event of the dancers (category advanced). For so much, will be participate in this study 20 female dancers with ages between 18 to 30 years, practitioners of ballet by at least 2 years. The volunteers will be answer questionnaires that investigate the mood (anxiety and depression), quality of life, patterns and quality of sleep, corporal image and physical activity level, in the following conditions: before and post-competition. Our expectation is identify which parameters psychobiologic can be modifying by the stress and interfere in the performance of dancers. (AU)
